For Pavement Sealing Operation to Improve Traction

Stone County – Drivers can expect one-lane traffic on Route 13 south of Kimberling City on Wednesday, June 28, and possibly Thursday, June 29, as crews improve traction on a curve, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

MoDOT crews will seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil south of Polkberry Lane.

The work will require one-lane traffic with flaggers directing drivers through the work zone. Drivers are urged to slow down and be alert for crews and equipment on the road.

The project should take only one day to complete.  However, if there are weather and/or construction delays, crews may need to work a second day to complete the project.

The pavement treatment will improve traction at a curve.
