Crews Will Close U.S. Highway 24 from N. Ferguson Road to N. Charlton Road Beginning June 27

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE east and westbound U.S. Highway 24 from N. Ferguson Road to N. Charlton Road beginning Tuesday, June 27 at 6 p.m. through Wednesday, June 28, at 6 a.m. This closure is for a bridge deck pour. There will be no through traffic on U.S. 24 under the bridge during this time. All traffic will be detoured to and over MO Route 7. All work is weather permitting. 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
