The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of July 3-July 14, 2017. Scheduled lane closures will not take place on Tuesday, July 4 for the Independence Day Holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
*The contractor is currently working in the eastbound lanes between the Missouri River Bridge and Lake of the Woods. Asphalt paving will continue nightly. Work hours are from 7 pm to 6 am, Monday-Friday, weather permitting. Motorists will encounter intermittent lane closures and temporary ramp closures as work progresses. Paving is expected to continue into early fall. Guardrail work is expected to continue until the end of the year. One lane of traffic in each direction will be open through the overnight hours, and signs will guide motorists through the work zone. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2018.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 63 over the Katy Trail, north of Jefferson City – Bridge deck replacement in the southbound lanes continues.
*The southbound Route 63 bridge over the Katy Trail is closed for deck replacement. All traffic on Route 63 is being carried over the northbound lanes with one lane of traffic open in both directions. Traffic will stay in this configuration until the new southbound bridge deck is completed around mid-August. This location is approximately 3 miles north of Route 54 near Jefferson City. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and watch for stopped traffic, backups and congestion. The entire project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route H over Davis Creek, east of County Road 329 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August. Daylight Hours
Route 94 between County Road 485 and County Road 4011 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route D between Route 94 and Route O - Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, July 3 through Thursday July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route O over Crows Fork Creek, west of Richland – Bridge deck replacement will begin Monday, July 10. The road will be closed. Motorists are advised to use Route C, Route 94 and Route CC to detour around the work.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route A over Dry Auglaize Creek, west of Richland – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
* The McCubbins point public access area is open while the work takes place. The project is scheduled for completion in early July.
Route A over Conn Creek, north of Richland – Bridge deck replacement will begin Wednesday, July 5. The road will be closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route, such as Route 7. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.
Route V between Route 54 and Route 7 – Roadside maintenance will take place on Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Daylight Hours
Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes and intersection improvements continue. During the week of July 3 there will be a temporary lane closures at the S. Shamrock and Liberty intersection in order to perform additional dirt work. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Routes J and M over Route 50 – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed.
* During the Route J/M bridge closure, the Route J/M ramps will remain open, except for a few weekends. Signed detours are in place for Routes J and M.
* Bridge girder installation will take place Friday, July 7 through Sunday, July 9. The work will close one westbound lane of Route 50 from Friday at 3 p.m. until Saturday at 2 a.m. One lane of eastbound Route 50 will be closed from Saturday at 3 p.m. until Sunday at 2 a.m. The bridge is scheduled to reopen in mid-August.
Cooper County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route B over the Petite Saline Creek, south of Interstate 70 - Bridge deck replacement continues. The bridge is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.

Route 5 between Interstate 70 and Route 50 in Morgan County – Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 87 and Big Lick Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Crooked Creek, south of Edgar Road – Bridge replacement is nearing completion. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area.
Route M over Crooked Creek, south of Keysville Road – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route AA in Washington County – Roadway resurfacing continues. Guardrail installation and roadway striping are planned for the week of July 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early October.
Route 19 between Route 49 and Route VV – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, June 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route P between Route C and Windle Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area
Route AA between Route 19 and Cherryville Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.\

South Outer Road 44 between Route D and Route N - Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County

Route 32 over Dry Valley Creek, east of County Road 4245 – Bridge replacement continues. Crews are building a temporary bypass in advance of the bridge closure. Minimal traffic impacts will take place the week of July 3. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Gasconade County

Route 100 over Little Berger Creek – Bridge replacement continues. The bridge is closed. Motorists are advised to use the signed detour of Route 19 and Route Z to get around the closure. The bridge is scheduled to reopen in late September.
Route EE over Dry Fork Creek, north of Bem Church Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.

Howard County
Daylight Hours Route 3 between Route 240 and County Road 219 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Wednesday, July 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Z between County Road 339 and County Road 343– Roadside maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County

Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route F between Interstate 44 and Route BB – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Interstate 44 and Route JJ – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route VV between Route 5 and Lonesome Road – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 100 between Route 50 and Chamois Power Plant Road – Roadway resurfacing will begin on Wednesday, July 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled to be completed in early September.
Route B between Route 133 and Lorenzo Green Drive in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder addition continues.
* Concrete repairs between Route M and Lorenzo Green Drive are planned for the week of July 3. Excavation will take place the week of July 3. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Phelps County
Daylight Hours Route 68 between Interstate 44 and Route 8 – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route F between Route 68 and Route 72 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 Outer Road (Arlington Road) between Interstate 44 and Sugar Tree Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
