JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has begun a 1.6 mile resurfacing project along the I-435 corridor between Route 24 and 23rd St. The resurfacing project will last until the fall. All work is weather dependent.
Below is a list of upcoming locations, times and dates:
Lane 1 of NB I-435 from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 5
Lane 2 of NB I-435 from 7:3 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 6
Lane 3 of NB I-435 from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, July 7
Lane 4 of NB I-435, the on-ramp from 23rd St. to NB I-435, the off-ramp from NB I-435 to Truman Rd. from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, July 8
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
