All Northwest Missouri Routes Now Open After Flooding

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The last of the routes closed in Northwest Missouri due to flooding reopened this morning.

To keep up with the latest road closures for flooding, incidents and roadwork, the Missouri Department of Transportation provides a Traveler Information Map at www.modot.org/northwest. Motorists are advised to check the map or call 1-888 ASK MODOT (1-888-275-6636Image removed.) before heading out to plan alternate routes, as needed. MoDOT encourages everyone to pay attention to barricades and Turn Around! Don’t Drown!

For more information, call 1-888-ASK-MODOT (888-275-6636Image removed.) or visit www.modot.org/northwest and view the online Traveler Information Map. In addition, MoDOT provides updated information on Twitter @MoDOTNorthwest and Facebook at www.facebook.com/MoDOTNWDistrict.
