The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of July 24, 2017 through August 4. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
* Overnight closures of the eastbound entrance ramp from Route 40 at Midway will take place Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 26.
* Resurfacing in the eastbound lanes will continue the week of July 24. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2018.
Route 163 (Providence Road) over Hinkson Creek- Bridge maintenance in the northbound lanes will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One northbound lane will be open through the work area.

Route E between Route 124 and Stadium Boulevard - Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route H between Route 63 and Englewood Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 31 and Tuesday, August 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 63 and Cedar Creek Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route VV between Route 763 and Dripping Springs Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 over the Middle River, east of Route BB – Bridge rehabilitation in the westbound lanes will begin the week of July 24.
*A temporary concrete barrier wall will be installed the week of July 24, closing one lane of Route 54 westbound at Middle River. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route 63 over the Katy Trail, north of Jefferson City – Bridge deck replacement in the southbound lanes continues.
* Southbound Route 63 traffic is being diverted into the northbound lanes with one lane open in both directions. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and watch for stopped traffic, backups and congestion. The southbound bridge will be completed in mid-August. The entire project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route H over Davis Creek, east of County Road 329 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Route O over Crows Fork Creek, east of County Road 419 – Bridge deck replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use Route C, Route 94 and Route CC to detour around the work. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route 54 between Route F and Route W in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing is nearing completion.
* Crews will stripe the edge lines of the roadway the week of July 24. The project is scheduled for completion in August
Route D between Route 94 and Route O - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area
Route KK between Route F and County Road 228 - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hour
Route A over Conns Creek, north of Richland – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Route D over Bank Branch, south of Route 54 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route 54 between Route A and Route Y - Roadway improvements in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Monday, July 31 through Wednesday, August 2. Crews will apply a High Friction Surface Pavement Treatment, designed to provide motorists with more traction in rain, ice or snow. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open traffic through the work area.
Route 5 at Lake Road 5-65 - Roadway improvements will take place Monday, July 31 through Wednesday, August 2. Crews will apply a High Friction Surface Pavement Treatment, designed to provide motorists with more traction in rain, ice or snow. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route F between Route 5 and the end of state maintenance – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route V between Route 54 and Route 7 – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route MM between Route HH and Route TT – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route TT between Route MM and Lakeview Resort Boulevard – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Routes J and M over Route 50 – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed.
* Signed detours are in place for motorists on Route J and Route M. The bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic in mid-August.

Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes and intersection improvements continue. Temporary lane closures are planned at the Shamrock and Liberty intersection the week of July 24. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Cooper County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route B over the Petite Saline Creek, south of Interstate 70 - The bridge is open to traffic. However, motorists may encounter temporary lane closures as the contractor finishes the project.
Route 5 between Interstate 70 and Route 50 - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route M over Crooked Creek, south of Keysville Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route AA in Washington County – Roadway resurfacing continues. Guardrail installation and roadway striping are planned for the week of July 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route 8 and Skyline Drive – Roadway resurfacing begins Monday, July 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route AA between Route 19 and Cherryville Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route HH between Route 19 and Ollie Coleman Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Outer Road 44 between Route KK and Route D in Franklin County – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County

Route 32 over Dry Valley Creek, east of County Road 4245 – Bridge replacement continues.
* Traffic has been shifted to the temporary bypass. Demolition of the existing bridge will continue the week of July 24. Minimal traffic impacts will take place. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Gasconade County
Daylight/Overnight Hours Route 100 over Little Berger Creek – Bridge replacement continues. The bridge is closed. Motorists are advised to use the signed detour of Route 19 and Route Z to get around the closure. The bridge is scheduled to reopen in late September.
Route EE over Dry Fork Creek, north of Bem Church Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.

Route F between Route 19 and Stolpe Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route H between Route 19 and Route E – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route ZZ between Route 19 and east of the Franklin County line – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Howard County
Daylight Hours Route Z between County Road 351 and County Road 343 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, August 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route JJ between Route T and County Road 206 – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, July 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 52 over Route 54 – Bridge rehabilitation continues.
* Westbound traffic will be detoured around the work area. Crews will flag eastbound traffic through the work area.
* Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 54 are possible during the work. The eastbound and westbound entrance and exit ramps will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Morgan County

Route 52 between Route 5 and Route Y in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder work continues. One lane will be open, and flagging crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in July.

* Concrete repairs between Route M and Lorenzo Green Drive will continue through late July. Excavation will take place the week of July 24. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Phelps County
