Bridge Deck Pour Will CLOSE Westbound Colbern Road

from Rice Road to I-470 off ramp on July 26 at 1 a.m.

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be pouring the bridge deck on the north half of the Colbern Road bridge over Interstate 470 on Wednesday, July 26, from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, westbound Colbern Road will be CLOSED from Rice Road to the I-470 off ramp. Crews will also be CLOSING the left turn lane onto eastbound Colbern Road from the southbound I-470 off ramp. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
