Lane Closures on Buck O'Neil Bridge for Bridge Inspections Beginning July 24

KANSAS CITY – Bridge inspections will reduce north and southbound Route 169 on the John Jordan Buck O’Neil Bridge to one lane daily beginning Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28. Crews will close one lane of northbound Route 169 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and one lane on southbound Route 169 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. These closures are for routine bridge inspections. All work is weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
