Pavement work will close lanes/ramps along I-29 corridor in Platte County

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the following lanes and ramps along the I-29 corridor tonight for pavement operations work. All work is weather dependent.

 

Listed are locations, times and dates:

Two right lanes of southbound I-29 between 56th St. and 72nd St. from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 through 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26

The ramp at 72nd St to southbound I-29 from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26

The southbound I-29 ramp to 64th St. from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26

The ramp at 64th St. to I-29 southbound from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26

The ramp at 56th St. to I-29 southbound from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 26

                                                            

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
