ST. LOUIS – Motorists who use Wentzville Parkway to access I-70 need to give themselves extra travel time during next week’s morning rush period. MoDOT will close lanes on Wentzville Parkway nightly next week to do a thin layer resurfacing of the overpass.
The work will require various lanes on Wentzville Parkway to be closed for up to 12 hours at a time. Below is the schedule of lane closures:
- Monday, July 31 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Various lanes on Wentzville Parkway over I-70 will be closed so crews can remove the striping and paint on the road. Only one lane will be closed at a time.
- Tuesday, August 1 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. – Two lanes on southbound Wentzville Parkway over I-70 will be closed.
- Wednesday, August 2 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. – Two lanes on northbound Wentzville Parkway over I-70 will be closed.
- Thursday, August 3 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. – One lane northbound and two lanes southbound will be closed on Wentzville Parkway over I-70.
Drivers can detour around the lane closures by taking either Interstate Drive to Route Z to I-70 or by taking Wentzville Parkway to Route 61 to I-70.
All work is weather permitting.
