MARSHALL: The Missouri Department of Transportation announced today they will be striping along Route 65, Route 240, Route 41 and Route 20 through the Marshall area next week. This will be a slow-moving, daytime operation that may impact traffic.
All striping work IS weather dependent. The current schedule by route includes:
- Monday, July 31: both directions on Route 65 from Marshall to the Missouri River.
- Tuesday, Aug 1: both directions on Route 240 from Route 65 to the Missouri River.
- Wednesday, Aug 2: Route 41, both directions, from the Missouri River to Arrow Rock.
- Thursday, Aug 3: Route 20 from Marshall to Blackburn, also in both directions.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention as they drive past work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
