Completion Date for Route 7 Bridge Delayed

JEFFERSON CITY – The completion date for replacing the deck on the Missouri Route 7 bridge over the Gasconade River in Pulaski County has been extended to early fall. The bridge was originally scheduled to open in late July. The delay is due to additional repairs resulting from flooding earlier this summer and contract work not progressing as anticipated.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience this delay will cause, and we’re working to ensure the contractor completes the project as quickly as possible,” said Chris Graham, resident engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Central District.
