Paving work will cause ramp/lane closures along I-29 corridor at 72nd Street

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close various lanes and ramps tonight along the I-29 corridor for paving operations work. All work is weather dependent.

 

Listed below are locations, times and dates:

Crews will close the right lanes of northbound and southbound I-29 at the 72nd St. Interchange from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3

Crews will close various ramps at the I-29 and 72nd St. Interchange from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3

                                                             

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
