Contractors working for the Missouri Department of Transportation will open both lanes of the Missouri Route 52 bridge over U.S. Route 54 in Eldon on Monday, Aug. 7. Currently, westbound Route 52 is closed and traffic is being detoured on Routes 54 and 87.
Additional work will take place on the bridge over the next several weeks, resulting in narrowed lanes. The entire project is scheduled for completion in September. MoDOT appreciates the patience of motorists while the work takes place.
