Pavement Work Scheduled for Northbound I-435 on Aug. 12

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have a lane closure along northbound Interstate 435 near the MO Route 24 on ramp at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, until 11 a.m. In addition to this lane closure, the on ramp from MO Route 24 to northbound I-435 will also be closed. The lane closure is from mile marker 59.8 to 59.6. These closures are for pavement work. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes if necessary. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
