Route ZZ in Scott County will be closed as railroad crews repair the crossing. Weather permitting, work will be performed Thursday, Aug. 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The railroad crossing is located west of Route 61 in Sikeston. During the closure, westbound traffic will detour to southbound US 61, Route Y to Route B. Eastbound traffic will detour to Route B, Route Y to northbound US 61.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists will need to take alternative route.
