Work will cause lane closures on the US 69 Missouri River Bridge

CLAY/PLATTE COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be individually closing the lanes on the US 69 Missouri River Bridge for repair work to an expansion joint. Crews will work on each lane over the course of four days.

All work is weather dependent.

 

Listed are locations, times and dates:

The southbound outside lane from 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14 to 3 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15

The southbound inside lane from 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15 to 3 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16

The northbound inside lane from 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16 to 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17

The northbound outside lane from 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18 to 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18                                                       

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
