HANNIBAL – A job fair will be held at the Twin Pike YMCA, 611 Kelly Lane, in Louisiana, Missouri on Thursday, August 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for those interested in an opportunity to work on the new Champ Clark Bridge project. “The Champ Clark Bridge will be constructed with a union work force hired by the contractor Massman Construction,” said Keith Killen, Missouri Department of Transportation professional engineer and project director for the Champ Clark Bridge. “Representatives from union apprenticeship programs will be available at the job fair to discuss opportunities in the areas of carpentry, ironwork, cement masonry, labor, and operating engineering,” he explained.
Other opportunities may also exist for administrative/clerical positions, surveyors, quality control technicians, among others.
