Completion of New Route EE Bridge Delayed

OWENSVILLE  – Work to replace the bridge that carries Route EE over Dry Fork Creek just south of Owensville in Gasconade County has been delayed. The road is now scheduled to open on Sept. 1. Route EE has been closed since May 15 so the old bridge could be replaced with a new one.

The new bridge was originally scheduled to open in mid-August. However, the drilled shafts for the bridge did not meet specifications and had to be replaced, causing the delay.
