BRIDGE REPAIR: Crews Begin Work on the Muddy Creek Bridge Next Week
PETTIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation begins work on the southbound Muddy Creek bridge on Route 65 in Pettis County on Aug. 28. They will spend approximately two weeks building temporary crossovers in the median for traffic management before starting the bridge work. Traffic will be one lane in each direction. The project is scheduled to finish in December. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
