PLATTE COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, work originally scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 22 has been rescheduled for tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 23. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the following ramps along the I-29 corridor for paving operations work. Not all of the closures will occur at the same time, but will close at some point during the night. All work is weather dependent.

The off-ramp from Vivion Road/northbound I-29 to northbound 169 from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24
The off-ramp from southbound 169 to northbound I-29 from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24
The off-ramp from northbound I-29 to Waukomis from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
