The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of August 28- September 8, 2017. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
* Paving in the westbound lanes will take place the week of August 28. One westbound lane will be open through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.

Route A between Route 63 and Second Street - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 63 and the Callaway County line - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Z between Liddel Lane and Gano Chance Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, September 5 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Forsee Road between Route 63 and the end of state maintenance - Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, August 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 over the Middle River, east of Route BB – Bridge rehabilitation in the westbound lanes continues. One lane is open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route 54 between Route F and Route W in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing is nearing completion.
* Striping operations will take place the week of August 28. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route 63 over the Katy Trail, north of Jefferson City – Bridge deck rehabilitation is complete. Occasional lane closures are possible through the fall.
Route O over Crows Fork Creek, east of County Road 419 – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use Route C, Route 94 and Route CC to detour around the work. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route M between County Road 240 and County Road 254 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, August 28. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route NN between County Road 410 and County Road 412 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, August 30. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route PP between Route 94 and Route BB - Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, August 29 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route TT between County Road 484 and County Road 496 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, August 31. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route D over Bank Branch, south of Route 54 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in late August.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route F between Route 5 and the end of state maintenance – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route W between Route O and Geronimo Springs Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route HH and Route TT – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route TT between Route MM and Lakeview Resort Boulevard – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Cole County
Daylight Hours
Routes J and M over Route 50 – Bridge replacement is complete. Occasional lane closures are possible on Route 50 through early fall.
Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Resurfacing and intersection improvements in the eastbound and westbound lanes is nearing completion. Occasional lane closures are possible in both directions the week of August 28.
Cooper County
Daylight Hours
Interstate 70 over the Missouri River, west of the Boone County line - Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 5 between Interstate 70 and Route 50 in Morgan County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. One lane will be open and crews will flag motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route 87 between Route Y and Crab Orchard Road– Roadway maintenance will take place on Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 135 between Interstate 70 and the Pettis County line– Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, September 5 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route O between Route H and Route J - Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, August 29 through Wednesday, August 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 87and Route J - Roadway maintenance will take place on Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Z over Heaths Creek, south of Interstate 70 – Bridge painting will begin the week of August 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route M over Crooked Creek, south of Keysville Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area.

Route 8 between Route 19 and Matred Lane – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route 19 between Route 8 and Route PP - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route 8 and Route VV – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday,
August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P - Pavement marking will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route F between Interstate 44 and Route 19 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Route 8 and Route YY – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Route J and Possum Hollow Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route P between Route 19 and Route C – Roadway resurfacing continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadway resurfacing continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route Y between Route 8 and Route V – Roadway resurfacing continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Dent County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 32 over Dry Valley Creek, east of County Road 4245 – Bridge replacement continues.
* Traffic has been shifted to the temporary bypass. Minimal traffic impacts will take place. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Gasconade County
Daylight/Overnight Hours Route 100 over Little Berger Creek – Bridge replacement continues. The bridge is closed. Motorists are advised to use Route 19 and Route Z around the closure. The bridge is scheduled to reopen in September.
Route EE over Dry Fork Creek, north of Bem Church Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in early September.

Route F between Route 19 and Stolpe Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route H between Route 19 and Route E – Roadway resurfacing is complete. Occasional lane closures are possible the week of August 28. Crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Overnight Hours
Route 5 between Jackson Street and Orchard Drive – Roadway resurfacing is underway. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 at Third Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route N between Route H and County Road 423 - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, August 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between County Road 269 and County Road 281 - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, August 28. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route Z between County Road 330 and County Road 335 – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route DD between County Road 422 and County Road 423 - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, August 29. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Laclede County
Daylight Hours
Interstate 44 over Route 5 – Bridge painting is underway. Occasional lane closures and minor delays in traffic are expected the week of August 28.
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route K between Route 32 and Spring Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route O over the Gasconade River, east of Route Z - Bridge inspection will take place the week of August 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County
Daylight Hours
Route 42 between Route 63 and Route T – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, September 5 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route AA between Route 63 and Route T – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, September 5 through Thursday, September 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 52 over Route 54 – Bridge rehabilitation continues. The bridge is open to traffic, but motorists will encounter narrow lanes.
* Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 54 are possible during the work. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route BB between Route 135 and Route D – Roadway resurfacing will begin on Monday, August 28. One lane will be open, and flagging crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area.

Route 68 between Interstate 44 and Route 8 – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route F between Route 68 and County Road 4110 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route ZZ between Route K and County Road 6630 - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Wednesday, August 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County

Route NN between Springer Lane and Springfield Road – Box culvert installation continues. The road is closed in the work area. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Washington County

Route 8 between Route AA and the St. Francois County line – Roadway resurfacing continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route 21 between Route 8 and Route 32 - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Route N and Floyd Tower Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
