Road and Bridge Work Planned for Several Routes in Marion County

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing work on the following routes in Marion County. Please see the dates and locations below.

Marion County Route D - Sept. 5 - 6, road temporarily closed from Missouri Route 156 to Marion County Route M between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day for culvert work. Please use alternate routes during these times.

Marion County Route D - Sept. 7, road temporarily closed from Marion County Route J to Missouri Route 168 for culvert work. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day. Please use alternate routes during that time.

U.S. Route 61 - Sept. 11 - 15, one lane southbound traffic from the beginning of the overpass bridge to the end of the overpass bridge near Taylor for bridge maintenance. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. Please use caution and obey all work zone signs and personnel. There will be a 45 mph speed limit in place during this time.

I-72/U.S. Route 36 - Sept. 12, one lane eastbound traffic from Missouri Route 79/Harrison Hill to the Illinois side of the Mark Twain Memorial Bridge for bridge maintenance between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. that day. Please use caution and obey all work zone signs and personnel.
