CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close two southbound lanes of the I-29/I-35 split beginning tonight at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 through 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 for resurfacing work.
Also closing, two northbound (left) lanes of the I-29/I-35 split beginning tonight at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 through 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11 for resurfacing work. This will be a 24/7 lane closure.
In addition, crews will close the northbound on-ramp from Route 210/Armour Rd. to the I-29/I-35 split beginning tonight at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and continuing through 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11 for resurfacing work. This will be a 24/7 lane closure. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
