Route 76/Bull Shoals Lake Bridge Project ? Forsyth Area

Update for Week of September 25
  • Work starts on foundations for bridge columns
  • Construction updates will be sent once a month and/or when traffic impacts are expected 

Work Scheduled:  

  • Building foundations for bridge columns for north end of new Bull Shoals Lake bridge
  • Installing waterway traffic control in Bull Shoals Lake
  • Installing erosion control devices 

Traffic Impacts:  

  • Crews and equipment entering and leaving work areas
  • No traffic impacts expected on Route 76 

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.) 

Project Summary:

  • Replace Bull Shoals Lake bridge with a new bridge west of the existing bridge
  • Connect new bridge to Route 76 at end of bridge project
  • Completion Date: Fall 2018
  • Total Project Cost: $10.4 million
