Watch for Heavy Equipment
North and southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with an 18-foot width restriction between mile marker 86 and mile marker 88. Contractor crews will utilize the median for heavy equipment during construction of the Scott City interchange.
Weather permitting, work will performed Monday, Sept. 25 through Saturday, Oct. 21.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
