Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to Meet Wednesday, October 4 in Kirksville

Public Invited to Attend

HANNIBAL – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4.  The meeting will be held in the Student Union at Truman State University, 100 East Normal Street, in Kirksville.

The meeting is expected to last around 3 hours, and the public is invited to attend.

Representatives from the City of Kirksville, Highway 63 Transportation Coalition, Northeast Missouri Rural Roads, and Western Meat Market are currently scheduled to give presentations.  MoDOT Northeast District Engineer Paula Gough will give a presentation on the state of MoDOT’s Northeast District.  The Commission holds meetings in Jefferson City for five months, while the legislature is in session; the other seven months Commission meetings are held throughout the state.
