PARKVILLE – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures NIGHTLY at the intersection of MO Highway 45 and MO Highway 9 from 7:30 p.m. through the following mornings at 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 13. These lane closures are for pavement repairs in the center of the intersection. Traffic will not be able to make left turns at any point in the intersection; they will only be able to go straight or turn right. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and find an alternate route if necessary. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
