Maintenance work will close one southbound lane of U.S. Route 63 in Boone County next week. The work, known as “conlift,” consists of raising low spots in the pavement surface and making those spots even with the rest of the roadway.
The work on Route 63 will take place between Route B and Brown Station Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 12. Message boards will be in place to warn motorists of the lane closure.
