St. Louis Work Zones for October 12-18

ST. LOUIS – Drivers around St. Louis City should be aware that crews will close all lanes of northbound I-55 and eastbound I-44 overnight between the I-44/I-55 interchange and the Poplar Street Bridge on Friday, October 13.

Crews will close:

  • Northbound I-55 at I-44 at 8 p.m. The detour will be marked.
  • I-44 at the exit to 7th and Park/Broadway at 8 p.m. The detour will be marked.
  • The ramp from 12th and Geyer to eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 at 7 p.m.
  • The ramp from northbound I-55 to Gravois at 7 p.m.

All lanes and ramps will reopen by 8 a.m. Saturday, October 14.

In addition, in southwest St. Louis County, crews will close the ramp from westbound I-44 to Route 141 overnight on Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Drivers will exit at Bowles onto the North Outer Road to detour to Route 141.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 from the I-44/I-55 interchange to the Poplar Street Bridge until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed from the eastbound I-44 ramp to northbound I-55 until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Shrewsbury and Jamieson through December. The remaining lanes are narrowed and shifted.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound I-55/westbound I-44 to eastbound I-64 at the Poplar Street Bridge closed through February.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from 8th Street/Marion to northbound I-55 is closed until December.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, two right lanes closed eastbound across the Poplar Street Bridge into Illinois until summer 2018.
  • Route 94, St. Charles County, the westbound ramp to eastbound Route 364 is narrowed through spring 2018.

  • I-70/I-44, St. Louis City, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., the exit from the express lanes to Broadway will be closed for the Rock N Roll Marathon.
  • Route 100, St. Louis City, 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., will be closed eastbound and westbound between Vandeventer and Tower Grove for the Rock N Roll Marathon.
