KANSAS CITY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures along Interstate 35 at Southwest Trafficway in both directions beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, for approximately two weeks. These lane closures are for bridge repairs. All work is weather permitting.
- There will be a double lane closure along I-35 in both directions over Southwest Trafficway beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16 until approximately noon.
- There will be a single lane closure along I-35 in both directions over Southwest Trafficway beginning at approximately noon on Monday, Oct. 16 for approximately two weeks.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
