Additional evening lane and ramp closures are planned on Interstate 70 as part of the ongoing project to improve the interstate between the Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport and the Lake of the Woods exit in east Columbia.
The following I-70 ramps are scheduled for closure:
- The westbound entrance and exit ramps at Routes J/O will be closed TONIGHT (Friday, Oct. 13. Closures are also possible on the eastbound entrance and exit ramps at Routes J/O or the eastbound entrance ramp at U.S. Route 40. Tonight’s work will take place between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- The eastbound entrance ramp at Business Loop 70 will be closed Monday Oct. 16.
- The eastbound entrance and exit ramps at Route 163 (Providence Road) and Route 763 (Rangeline Street) will be closed On Tuesday, Oct. 17, along with the auxiliary lane that runs between them.
- The westbound entrance ramp at Business Loop 70 will be closed on Wednesday, October 18.
All ramp closures will take place from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., unless otherwise noted. These schedules are subject to change based on weather and the contractor’s progress. The work is part of a project to repair pavement, replace and repair guardrail and resurface the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-70. The entire project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
