Lane Closings and Possible Delays on I-44 West of Springfield Week of Oct. 23
What: One eastbound lane of I-44 closed at bridge over Pickerel Creek (Mile Marker 64) west of Springfield
When: 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 23-26. If the work cannot be completed by Oct. 26, work could continue into week of Oct. 30.
Why: MoDOT crews taking rock samples from underneath the bridge but must set up equipment on the bridge to complete work
Traffic Impacts:
- One lane closed at a time
- Drivers can expect delays when lane is closed
- Drivers urged to seek alternate routes
