MACON - Crews are working on some bridge painting projects in Shelby County. Painting has occurred on Shelby County Route W north of Burkesville over the Tiger Fork River. Crews have now moved to Shelby County Route N north of Lenter at Salt River.
Temporary signals are in place on Route N to keep traffic to one lane on the bridge at all times while the work is completed. There is an 11 ft. width restriction in place. The project should be completed in a couple of weeks, weather permitting.
Please use caution if you will be traveling through this area, and remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.
