The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of October 23-November 3, 2017. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
* Eastbound and westbound exit and entrance ramps will be closed in various locations during the week of October 23. All ramp closures will take place from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
* Striping operations will take place in various locations the week of October 23. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Pavement repair and resurfacing continues.
* Pavement repairs will take place between Route 63 and Brown Station Road the week of October 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 over Interstate 70 - Bridge rehabilitation in the eastbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane is open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 54 over Richland Creek, west of County Road 210 - Bridge rehabilitation in the westbound lanes continues. One westbound lane is open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Center Street and the Missouri River – Guard cable installation continues. One westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Daylight Hours
Route D between Interstate 70 and Route O – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, November 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N over the Loutre River, north of County Road 1044 – Bridge maintenance will take place Wednesday, October 25 through Wednesday, November 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU between Route O and Route JJ – Chip sealing roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 70 North Outer Road between Route 54 and Route JJ – Chip sealing roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place on Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. Route 7 between Route E and Route V - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, November 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late October.
Cole County
Overnight Hours
Route 54 at Business Route 50 (Missouri Boulevard) – Pavement repair on the westbound entrance ramp will take place Monday, October 30 through Friday, November 3. The ramp will be narrowed in the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route B between Lorenzo Green Drive and Route 133 in Osage County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder addition continue.
*Asphalt resurfacing, grading, seeding and guardrail installation between Wardsville and Meta is scheduled to take place the week of October 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Cooper County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Interstate 70 and Route 50 in Morgan County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening is complete. Occasional temporary lane closures are possible in the work area the week of October 23.
Route D between Route 87 and Route O in Moniteau County – Roadway resurfacing is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November.
Route O between Route J and Route 87 in Moniteau County – Roadway resurfacing is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November.
Route U over Petite Saline Creek, south of Debo Road – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Tuesday, October 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 179 and Big Lick Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County

Route 8 between Route 19 and Meramec Farms Road – Roadway resurfacing is nearing completion. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P - Pavement marking will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route ZZ between Route F to Washington Boulevard – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 South Outer Road between Route H and Washington Boulevard – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route U between Route 3 and County Road 232 – Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, October 25 and Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area. Work is scheduled to be complete on November 1.

Route 42 between Route 17 and Route C – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, November 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route HH between Route 5 and Route E – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County

*Rumble strip installation and striping will take place the week of October 23. One lane will be open, with crews and a pilot car guiding traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.

Route 63 between the Rolla city limits and Route CC in Texas County – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route J between Route K and Route P – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, October 23 through Monday, October 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route F south of Business Loop 44 – Culvert pipe replacement is nearing completion. Minimal traffic impacts are possible during the week of October 23.

Route 17 between Red Oak Road and Rocky Mount Lane – Roadside repairs are nearing completion. Minimal traffic impacts are possible during the week of October 23.
Washington County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 8 between Route AA and the St. Francois County line – Roadway resurfacing continues.
* Guardrail installation is planned for the week of October 23. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in 2018.
