Route 76/Bull Shoals Lake Bridge Project ? Forsyth Area

Update for Weeks of October 23 and 30
  • Boat traffic restricted underneath north side of Bull Shoals Lake bridge 

Work Scheduled:  

  • Building bridge columns for north end of new Route 76 bridge over Bull Shoals Lake
  • Hauling rock and dirt to south side of bridge 

Traffic Impacts:  

  • Occasional one-lane traffic on Route 76 on bridge. Work hours: between morning and evening rush hours during week of Oct. 30. Flaggers directing drivers through work zone.
  • Baker Street CLOSED on south side of bridge
  • Boat traffic restricted underneath north side of bridge 

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.) 

Project Summary:

  • Replace Bull Shoals Lake bridge with a new bridge west of the existing bridge
  • Connect new bridge to Route 76 at end of bridge project
  • Completion Date: Fall 2018
  • Total Project Cost: $10.4 million
