ST. LOUIS – Commuters who regularly use the I-44/I-270 interchange in south St. Louis County may want to attend TODAY’S open house-style informational public meeting about bridge replacements near the interchange starting in 2018.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share information about the four-year project, which will replace both I-44 bridges west of I-270 over the Meramec River as well as two ramp bridges between I-44 and Geyer Road/Route 366 (Watson Road).
The open house-style public meeting is 4-7 p.m. today, October 24 in Room BA105 in the Business Administration Building of the St. Louis Community College, Meramec Campus, 11333 Big Bend Road, St. Louis, MO 63122.
During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share information about the closure plans, schedule, detours and expected impacts to commuters for the project.
Participants may attend at any time during the open house.
This meeting will allow the public to get information about the project and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or in written comments, on potential impacts due to the construction of this project.
For those unable to attend today’s meeting, a virtual public meeting with the same information is available at: http://tinyurl.com/I44Bridges2018
