Commission Awards Highway Projects in Morgan and Moniteau Counties

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded improvement projects on two mid-Missouri roads.

Vance Brothers was awarded a contract for a microsurfacing, a preventative maintenance pavement treatment, in the following areas:

  • Route 52 between Route 5 in Morgan County and the Benton County line. The low bid for the contract was $856,081.
  • Route 5 between Route 50 in Moniteau County and Route 52 in Morgan County. The low bid for the contract was $1,049,207.

Work on each project will take place in 2018. Lane closures are likely in the work areas.
