MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 1 in St. Louis, awarded projects to construction companies to resurface several state highways in the Springfield/Branson/Ozark areas and a project to build a soundwall in Springfield during 2018, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
- Webster County Route VV resurface and add shoulders and resurface Christian County Route T
- Awarded to Journagan Construction of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $684,809
- Stone County Route A resurface and Christian/Stone County Route K resurface and add shoulders
- Awarded to Journagan Construction of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $898,234
- Taney County Route Y, T and O resurface and add shoulders
- Awarded to Journagan Construction of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $1,222,111
- Greene County Route MM pavement smoothing at Route 360 in Republic
- Awarded to Emery Sapp and Sons, Inc. of Columbia, for a low bid amount of $188,314
- Route 60 soundwall construction in Springfield
- Awarded to KCI Construction Company of Columbia, for a low bid amount of $1,005,980
Construction on the projects will start after January 1, 2018 and will be completed by the end of 2018. More information on the projects will be announced next year prior to the projects’ start dates.
