Signal Work Scheduled for Intersection at Route 24 and Kentucky Road Beginning Nov. 6

JACKSON COUNTY – Contractors will be installing a new signal pole and lights at the intersection of Route 24 and Kentucky Road the week of Nov. 6 – 10. Due to the nature of the work, there may be intermittent lane closures including the right lane on westbound Route 24 and the left turn lanes in order to set up and test the lights. Local drivers will be notified of closures with changeable message boards and work zone signs. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
