Crews Will CLOSE Ramp from Northbound I-435 to Eastbound I-70 Beginning Nov. 10 at 9 p.m.

KANSAS CITY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE the ramp leading from northbound Interstate 435 onto eastbound I-70 beginning at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 until approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. This ramp closure is for pavement work. Due to the nature of the work and its location, this ramp closure may be accompanied by the closure of the southbound I-435 ramp onto eastbound I-70. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and find an alternate route if necessary. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
