The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE Interstate 470 at Colbern and Douglas Roads for bridge work beginning on Monday, Nov. 13 at 10 p.m. Read on for a full schedule. These nightly closures are for bridge work. There will be no posted detour. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and must find alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.
- Westbound I-470 will be CLOSED at Colbern Road beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Eastbound I-470 will be CLOSED at Douglas Road beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, until 5 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
