Public Meeting Scheduled to Discuss Route 54/W Intersection in Lake Ozark

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16 to discuss the building of a diamond interchange at the intersection of U.S. Route 54 and Miller County Route W in Lake Ozark. A diamond interchange is a common type of road junction, used where a major highway crosses a minor road.

The proposed project is scheduled to take place in 2019.

The public meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Heritage Elementary School, 1501 School Road in Lake Ozark. The meeting facility is accessible to people with disabilities.

No formal presentation will be made. The public may attend the meeting at any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to speak with MoDOT staff.  Various project displays will be available at the meeting, and the public is encouraged to ask questions and provide input.  All comments will be taken into consideration and made a part of the project file.

Displays and project information presented at the public meeting will also be available at www.modot.org/central. For more information, call toll free 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636).
