RESCHEDULED: Pavement Work Scheduled for Route 291 in Harrisonville Beginning Nov. 10

HARRISONVILLE – The Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled its plans to conduct pavement work along northbound and southbound Route 291 in Harrisonville between Waters Road and Royal Street. This work will now be beginning on Friday, Nov. 10. Two way traffic will be open at all times, however, traffic will be shifted to the center lane when needed. This work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, Nov. 14. This work was originally scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 9. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
