SIKESTON-The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission is planning to replace two bridges on Route ZZ, located near the intersection of Route ZZ and County Road 138 in Douglas County—just south of the Wright/Douglas County line.
The projects involve replacing the bridges over Fox Creek East Fork and Fox Creek West Fork.
Letting is anticipated in February 2018, and construction could begin as early as spring 2018. As construction is underway, Route ZZ will be closed to through traffic in the vicinity of each bridge.
Maps, plans, and other information prepared by the Missouri Department of Transportation, or interested agency, will be available for public inspection and copying at the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Regional Office, 3956 E. Main Street, Willow Springs, MO 65793.
