GRANDVIEW – The Missouri Department of Transportation has made a permanent change to the intersection at Route 150 and White Avenue. Going southbound along White Avenue and turning left (east) on Route 150, there was previously a left turn lane and a through-left turn lane. Please be advised that crews have changed the through-left turn lane to a through movement lane only. This intersection now has a left turn lane, a through lane, and right turn lane. This change was done to increase safety at the intersection, reduce the back up at Route 150, as well as to improve traffic flow at Route 150 and Interstate 49.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
