Route 60/360 Guardrail Upgrade Project Results

In Daytime/Nighttime Lane Closings Starting Nov. 27

Greene County – Drivers can expect daytime and nighttime lane closings on Route 60/360 between I-44 and Route 65 in the Springfield area starting Monday, Nov. 27, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. 

Crews will begin work on the west end of the project near I-44. 

When crews are working on Route 360 between I-44 and Route 413 west of Springfield, drivers can expect daytime lane closings where crews are working. 

As the project progresses eastward on Route 60 between Route 413 and Route 65 in Springfield, crews will begin working during nighttime hours. Crews will be on the road between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. 

The project will upgrade guardrail in various locations along Route 60/360 to comply with new federal safety requirements. 

The work is being done by James H. Drew, Corporation of Indianapolis, Indiana, for a low bid amount of $1.5 million. 

The project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
