Bridge Inspection Schedule

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – In-depth under-bridge inspections take place throughout the year by crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Central Office. While the bridge inspection crews based in Northwest Missouri work to inspect most of the bridges in our area, there are some that require specialized equipment. This program of inspection, repair and maintenance of the more than 10,000 bridges across the state ensures the bridges are kept in the best possible condition for as long as possible for all those that travel across Missouri’s roadways.

The crews from our Central Office are scheduled to inspect several bridges in our area in the coming weeks. During these under-bridge inspections the work zones may be moving operations and motorists are advised to be alert for work zone signs and extra equipment on the roadways around these bridges and ramps.

Please put down your phone and other distractions so you can give driving your full attention and give the crew plenty of room to safely do their work. All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
