Commission Awards Highway Projects in Dent and Texas Counties

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded improvement projects on two mid-Missouri roads.

The commission has approved microsurfacing projects in the following locations:

  • Route 32 between Salem and Licking. The work includes the construction of a turn lane at the junction of Route 32 and Route J in Salem.
  • Route 119 between Route 32 and Dent County Road 6670.

 

The contract for the work was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, which submitted the low bid of $1,963,591.

Work on each project will take place in 2018. Lane closures are likely in the work areas.
