SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Jan. 4. Awarded contracts include pavement improvements.
Contracts include the following:
- A $2,606,464 contract was awarded to Chester Bross Construction Co., for pavement improvements on Route U from I-55 to Route 84 in Pemiscot County;
- A $2,645,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
- Route 95 from Clouse Street to Route 76 in Douglas and Wright counties;
- Route 38 from Route 95 to Route 17 in Texas and Wright counties;
- Route HH from Route Y to the end of state maintenance in Wright County;
- Route Z from Route H to Route 5 in Wright County, and;
- Business Route 60 from Route 5 to Jennifer Street in Wright County.
- A $837,148 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
- Route FF from Route 51 to Route CC in Butler County, and;
- Route 172 from Route 67 to the end of state maintenance Wayne County.
- A $736,064 contract was awarded to Chester Bross Construction Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
- Route Y from Route 160 to the end of state maintenance in Ripley County;
- Route V from Route 160 to the end of state maintenance in Butler County;
- Route 103 from Route 60 to Route Z in Carter County;
- Route EE from Route 153 to Route 25 in Dunklin County;
- Route AB from Route 160 to the end of state maintenance in Howell County;
- Route U from Route 142 to the end of state maintenance in Ripley County;
- Route B from Route 63 to Route 137 in Texas County, and;
- Route W from Route O to the end of state maintenance in Butler and Wayne counties.
- A 691,821 contract was awarded to Chester Bross Construction Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
- Route J from Route T to Route E in Stoddard County;
- Route 25 from Route K to Route 74 and from Route 77 to Route 91 in Cape Girardeau and Stoddard counties, and;
- Route E from Route B to Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
Work zones will be marked with signs as work is underway. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling in these areas and plan for possible delays. MoDOT will alert drivers prior to any changes in traffic.
